    NAS branches are run by parent volunteers and offer support to families who have a child or family member with autism or Asperger syndrome. Activity sessions such as visits to the skate park and talks about a range of subjects are arranged from time to time.     The Ellon Branch is for parents/carers and professionals in Aberdeenshire with an interest in autism spectrum disorders (ASD). As well as providing information and support via email and telephone, the branch also organises social outings and fundraising events, as well as a range of talks and seminars. The branch facilitate parent training known as Teen Life. This course is aimed at parents of young people aged 10-16years. Please contact the branch for details of the next course.

    The NAS Garioch Branch runs a monthly support group in Inverurie where parent carers can meet up and receive information and support.
