How we will support you

All Aboard for Autism is the National Autistic Society’s inclusive, family-fun day in the grounds of Drayton Manor Theme Park. You and your family can have fun in a safe and welcoming environment and be part of a special day with other families in a non-judgmental space.

We would love you to join Team Autism, and everyone who walks with the National Autistic Society receives:

  • a social story of the day to prepare for the event
  • a full event timetable with an easy read format
  • access to our fundraising and training materials
  • dedicated support from Senior Events Officer, Rachael Lynch
  • a warm welcome on the day from our staff and volunteers
  • a goody bag, medal and well deserved certificate after completing the walk.

For any accessibility requirements, please email allaboard@nas.org.uk.

What to expect on the day

  • a sing-a-long warm up with the Fat Controller
  • fun activities such as hook-a-duck, face painting and inflatable games
  • autism-friendly merchandise
  • sensory toys and a sensory bus
  • a Thomas & Friends treasure hunt to complete on the walk
  • free ticket to Drayton Manor Theme Park after the event for those who reach their minimum fundraising amount (£35 per child, £45 per adult).
