The service helps parents/carers/families of children and adults with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) access support, advice and information. It works closely with Health trusts and Education Boards to raise awareness and understanding of autism among professionals. It helps improve provision and access to services for people with autism and their families, and support the establishment of parent groups and the National Autistic Society (NAS) branches in Northern Ireland.
