Spectrum live fathers day
Join us live on our Facebook page on Friday 19 June at 10am for our interactive live stream event for free.

With Father’s day approaching we are excited to announce this edition of Spectrum Live. We see a lot of assumptions about the roles that fathers and mothers play in their support of their autistic children. All of us are influenced by our father and the father figures in our lives. Maybe he wasn't there, maybe he was there.

In this episode we will bring together fathers and father figures to discuss fatherhood and being a parent to an autistic child. Our guests both autistic and non-autistic, will share their experiences, knowledge, what being an autistic parent is like for them and what they’ve learnt along the way.

Our guests include:

  • Arif Patel
  • Ronnie Pinder
  • Tom Hopper
  • David Grant
  • Michael and Paul Atwal-Brice
  • Henry Normal
  • Cally Beaton

How it will work?

The episodes will be recorded in advance via video link so they will not be live on the day. We will have a presenter, real life autistic experiences and expert guidance on each episode.

If you won't be able to watch it live, don't worry! A recording of the episode will be available on our Facebook page.

Support us

Like many charities, we're feeling  the impact of coronavirus  on our income and we  are making some incredibly difficult decisions  regarding  our information services.  We need you now, more than ever  to ensure we can continue to be there for autistic people and their families. Together, with your support, we will  get through this.

If you’re able to, please make a donation today.

Coronavirus series

We will be continuing the Coronavirus series. As the situation is always changing, we have decided to leave this open for now. We will make an announcement soon, so make sure you stay tuned. In the meantime, you can catch up on the past episodes here.
