Essential autism

This course is an introduction to autism and autistic experience and will develop your knowledge and understanding through exploring key areas of difference.

About the course


This course aims to increase understanding of autism and strategies to support autistic people. It focuses on discussing the main areas of difference for autistic people and provides a range of autistic perspectives to enhance understanding and support good practice.

Training details and timings 


Our interactive training provides delegates with access to our courses in a learner friendly and accessible way. Your training will be delivered by one of our experienced and knowledgeable training consultants, using a combination of PowerPoint presentation, videos and discussion to support learning. We schedule regular breaks into all our sessions. 

This course is delivered between 9.30am – 1pm including breaks.
 

Live online courses are delivered using Microsoft Teams 

Delegates will be sent joining links and handouts prior to the course. We have approximately 25 delegates on each group, and we try to be sensitive to individual adjustments that people may need, including cameras being optional and using the chat function for interactions.
