Workshops
Autism Support Ayrshire offers two free parent & carer workshops, delivered by National Autistic Society staff:
- EarlyBird+ (for parents of a child age 4-10)
- Teenlife (for parents of a child age 11 – 16)
These workshops help parents & carers understand autism and develop strategies to support their child. They are open to families in Ayrshire with a school-aged autistic child and take place at Centrestage in Kilmarnock or online.
Each family can book two places (for parents, partners, grandparents, or other supporters) and may also invite a professional involved with the child, such as a teacher or social worker.
Alongside practical advice, the sessions provide opportunities to connect with other families, share experiences and gain peer support.
