The Sybil Elgar School Celebrated ‘Design Technology Day’ on 28th June.
Pupils participated in different activities such as building towers and shapes using different materials such as blocks, Lego and straws. They made windmills, balloon-powered cars, constructed mini beasts using K’nex kits, made moving monsters and felt butterflies.
The focus was on three main areas: mechanisms, structures and textiles.
Design Technology helps pupils to develop essential skills through enjoyable activities they can relate to.
Above all the pupils had fun learning through this highly practical range of activities!
Thanks to the Sybil Elgar team for all your support.
