In November 2019 Exeter and District branch had their first Rainbow Ball. This was a fundraising event organised by the branch chair Penny Palmer and her committee. A fantastic evening was had by the 40 guests who attended the ball, and they certainly dressed to impress for the occasion. Penny went on to explain, “a great night was had by everyone and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves". As well as a delicious buffet, there was a disco and a games and sensory room for those needing some quiet time. The evening culminated in an auction of goods donated by local companies and the committee. The branch raised an incredible £800 on the evening, which went towards branch funds.
