We support autistic people (including those with Asperger Syndrome and people who are currently seeking a diagnosis), their friends and families and to their parents/carers on the Isle of Wight. We run drop-ins and social groups for sharing advice and coping strategies. We also provide appropriate sign posting to other local services.
As a volunteer-led branch we will do all we can to make sure our website contains accurate information. However, if you do spot anything wrong with the information on our website then please let us know by dropping us an email.
We are entirely volunteer-led and value any time you can give to the Isle of Wight branch.
Following a refresh meeting to discuss future activities for its members and supporters, the Isle of Wight branch committee of National Autistic Society are currently welcoming new people to join the team to assist in facilitating a range of fun, engaging and supportive activities with the autistic community across the Island. Our volunteer experience is tailored for each individual, recognizing that everyone brings with them their own unique experience and abilities.
You can find our current volunteer vacancies here. If you would like to find out more about your local branch of National Autistic Society and ways that you could get involved with its developing activity programme, then contact email@example.com. We would really like to hear from you.
