The Certificate Course ‘Working Therapeutically With Autistic Adults’ is designed to equip counsellors and psychotherapists to work with autistic adults.

- Understand barriers to therapy, and how to approach the big issues of equity, diversity and inclusion.
- Acquire theoretical knowledge about autism and planning the direction and aims of therapy.
- Know how to (legally) modify the delivery of therapy to meet autistic needs and how to assess when it is ethical to refer. Covers interpersonal, social, and political domains, and focus is on therapeutic dyad, understanding autisti clients, and delivering more effective therapy.
