The Government wants everyone with a learning disability to have excellent services.Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) set up the Learning Disability Partnership Board (LDPB).

In January 2009 the Government launched Valuing People Now. This three year plan is to make sure that all people with learning disabilities have better lives. It is the Learning Disability Partnership Board's job to make this happen.The group of people who make up the LDPB is now busy looking at services like health and housing, learning and getting jobs.
