Dr Barry Ingham
Dr Barry Ingham is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Associate Psychological Services Director who works in clinics with autistic people and people with intellectual disabilities within the Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Ingham is also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Population Health Sciences Institute at Newcastle University, where he has developed and evaluated novel assessments and interventions for autistic people who experience health conditions. He conducted this work as an investigator on several funded trials and research projects.
Dr Ingham has published articles and book chapters concerning the needs of autistic people and people with intellectual disabilities. He is a chartered psychologist, an associate fellow with the British Psychological Society and a registered clinical psychologist.
