The opportunity to train to be a teacher

Here at Robert Ogden, as part of our investment in employee development and career oportunities, we believe on growing and developing our own qualified teachers and make our contribution to help resolving the current nationwide shortage of qualified teachers.

So we have a scheme where we support at least one of our Teaching Assistants a year to become a qualified teacher in conjunction with the University of Hull. We cover the PGCE course fees, allow time off work and give the opportunity to teach and provide support within school. This scheme is only available to Teaching Assistants who currently work at the school who meet the course requirements and not to external applicants.
