    The NAS Derby & District Branch is a local support group for parents/carers of children and adults on the autism spectrum. The group usually holds two monthly meetings (morning and evening) which are an opportunity to meet and share information with other parents and professionals. Morning meetings are held on Mondays or Fridays, evening meetings are usually held on a Tuesday. Guest speakers regularly attend evening meetings.     We welcome autistic adults, their parents and other adult family members, spouses/partners and some researchers and autism professionals. Our branch organises a number of activities as well as acting as a source of information on local events/services and participating in local authority initiatives aimed at enabling our autistic community.
