About the course

This one-day course is designed to meet the continuing professional development needs of those accredited Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO) professionals involved in the diagnostic process of autism spectrum disorders and related conditions.

Who is the course for?

All participants will be accredited DISCO users who wish to update their knowledge and working practice in the diagnosis and assessment of autism spectrum disorders

How is the course delivered?

The course is delivered over the course of one day and is presented by Dr Judith Gould, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Dr Sue Sheppard, Specialist Educational Psychologist, with support from the team at The Lorna Wing Centre.

The day runs from 10am to 4pm.

When does the course run?

Where does the training take place?

The training takes place at the Lorna Wing Centre for Autism, Bromley, Kent.

Is online training available?

DISCO ONLINE is available to all professionals trained and accredited in the use of DISCO. It has primarily been designed to maintain the accuracy of the DISCO assessment whilst maximising your time and resources. DISCO online can:

  • combine your manual, record form and algorithms
  • access your notes for report writing
  • allow for easy analysis of cases for research
  • support immediate and accurate diagnoses.
