Carly Jones MBE is taking part in World Autism Awareness Week, to raise money for her daughters, Honey and Cherish (pictured), who are both on the autism spectrum. Read Carly's story below to find out why she's getting involved.

"We get involved in World Autism Awareness Week every year, because it's really important to us. To have a week dedicated to autism awareness, should be supported, and is a wonderful thing that should be treasured.

"World Autism Awareness Week has always been a special time of year for our family, as it allows us to approach the media and community, to help raise awareness.

"We often celebrate the week in one way or another. Last year, I took a group of home-educated, young, autistic people to see Shrek's Adventure at the theatre in Westminster.

"I'd urge people to take part and raise money. Watch this space to find out what my girls and I will be getting up to during World Autism Awareness Week."
