Sez (Sarah) was diagnosed with autism as a young child as well as epilepsy in her late teens. After attending mainstream school, she studied at Chickenshed Theatre, where she gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Inclusive Performance. Sez also has a Diploma in Musical Theatre with the London College of Music.

She has pets and enjoys the company of animals, and has been a zookeeper for the day at London and Whipsnade Zoos, where she is a member. Sez’s other interests include being a huge fan of Disney, Hey Arnold!, musical theatre, and history.

Sez created her YouTube channel in 2015 to raise and share awareness for autistic people of all ages. Some of Sez’ content includes story time videos for children.

Aside from her channel, Sez said that she likes to participate in local theatre productions, go swimming, write short stories, sing, and visit historical palaces and houses.

During Mental Health Awareness Week, Sez filmed her experiences of stress and how it affects her. She also joined our other content creators during World Autism Awareness Week to share her reaction vlog to our new #AutismTMI film, Diverted, part of our Too Much Information campaign. Away from the camera lens, Sez has spoken about the charity and public events, and even faced her fear of heights and abseiled 80 metres down the ArcelorMittal Orbit, the highest freefall abseil in the UK for the National Autistic Society.

It’s been a joy working with Sez and we’re so pleased how invested she is working with the charity on our national campaigns and thrill-seeking fundraising events. We look forward to seeing what she does next.
