Connor Ward

Connor was diagnosed with autism at 18 years old. He’s been making videos on YouTube since 2016 and has been uploading at least once a week ever since. Talking about autism is a big part of his channel, and he loves the fact that sharing his tips and struggles can educate those less aware about autism, whilst supporting other people on the spectrum. Connor often steps away from the camera lens to speak at public events, conferences, including many of ours. Despite his busy schedule, Connor also managed to balance all this with his open degree which is composed of a whole array of different modules, which he loves.

Connor has been working with the National Autistic Society for two years, and has been instrumental in helping us grow our content creators network, introducing us to the likes of vloggers Dan M. Jones and Sez, who we now work with closely. Public speaking is in Connor’s nature, and has been great at holding talks at our Derby and District branch and AGM meeting. Along with our other content creators, Connor has been actively involved in our Too Much Information campaign, Mental Health Awareness Week, Volunteers Week and Autism Friendly Award.

We would like to thank Connor for being such a valuable supporter of the National Autistic Society and for his continuous support and involvement in the work we do. We can’t wait to work with him on future projects.
