Thousands of you voted last month for your favourite designs by autistic children and adults to be created into our charity Christmas cards for 2020. And the results are in...

The winner of the children's competition was the talented Domanic, a young boy who is 13, non-verbal and lives in Glasgow.

For his inspiration Domanic looked at the stars at night, in books and online. He also explored trees and the snow. Domanic loves the coldness of the snow.

The adult's competition winner is Helen, who designed this fantastic Robin.

Helen loves nature and enjoys watching the birds visiting her garden throughout the year. Helen's an aspiring artist and exhibits her work locally, hoping soon to start selling it, too.

Helen told us, "We have an inquisitive robin that will often sit nearby while I’m gardening. I like the expressive way that the robin tilts it head when it’s hopping around the garden, so I chose to try and capture that in an illustrative way."

Well done, Helen and Domanic - we can't wait to see the final cards!

The Christmas cards will go on sale in the early autumn, subject to the ongoing coronavirus situation and its impact on our mailing house.
