One Minute Brief competition graphic

This week, the National Autistic Society ran a competition with content community One Minute Briefs to celebrate World Autism Awareness Week.

As part of this, aspiring creatives and content creators were provided with a brief about our charity and autism, and then asked to tweet their entries. The winner was decided by a panel of employees from our charity, and they will win some National Autistic Society merchandise and an Amazon voucher.

It was great to see some great ideas to raise awareness for autism this week. Although some of the ideas weren’t quite how we would talk about autism, it was an excellent opportunity to get the creative community to learn about autism and the strengths and challenges autistic people face. Many of those who took part may have no connection to autism, and so this was the first time they’d supported autistic people in their work.

Here are our favourites:

  1. You Aut’a Know by @HaydenNaughton

  5. Raise awareness, not an eyebrow by @CopyCharisma

We hope you enjoyed them too, and a massive congratulations to Hayden Naughton for winning the competition!
