The Cheshire west and Chester Branch have re-opened their fabulous Hub in a new venue.

The volunteers of the branch have worked tirelessly over the summer holidays to get the old bungalow looking fantastic and will be providing collections of books, DVDs, CDs, visual aids, sensory toys and other useful tools to help anyone on the autistic spectrum or their carers, Asperger’s or other learning or sensory difficulty. The Hubs aim is to provide a supportive, informal environment where individuals, parents and professionals can find information, talk to others in a similar situation or just have a coffee and browse our shelves.

The branch have now settled into their new bigger home and are looking forward to exciting times ahead. Their vision is to create an autism friendly hub in the centre of the community and to involve more local agencies who can be of help and support to our families. They have held a coffee morning for professionals to discuss ways working collaboratively moving forward, and can now offer a private room where families can book appointments with several local services in the Hub.
