Dan Middleton, known as DanTDM, the highest earning YouTuber of 2017, famous for posting videos of himself playing Minecraft and doing humorous challenges, donated £26,847 on #WorldAutismAwarenessDay, to the National Autistic Society.

Earlier in February, DanTDM, shared with his followers on Twitter that he was planning to donate to charity money earnt from his live streaming, he tweeted: 'I will total it up per month and then we’ll decide a charity together to donate to. Let’s spread the love, TeamTDM style’.

The popular YouTuber, kept his promise and the National Autistic Society was the second charity to receive a donation so far this year.

Yesterday, the top British YouTuber with more than 18m subscribers, made an announcement on his Twitter account: '..£13,423.40 raised over the past 31 days. As always, I’m doubling that to a HUGE £26,847!!! As it’s #WorldAutismAwarenessDay, this month’s charity will be the National Autistic Society @Autism.'
