abstract colourful image of London

We're really excited to have the support of Lindy Estlin, a future Lady Mayoress of the City of London, who has launched an art competition to celebrate the colourful and vibrant City of London.

She is seeking young autistic artists and budding artists to submit their designs for the chance to have your artwork printed onto a Christmas card, menu for the official banquets and invite to a children's party. The banquets host for a large number of national and international guests, and is a great way to show off the city and all it has to offer, including the work of talented artists - and that's where you could come in!

The winner (or winners - there could be up to three) also gets £100 cash prize and an invite to Mansion House for tea.

Can I take part?

If you're autistic, 25 or under and from the UK, yes.

Is there any criteria for the design?

Yes. Your art should celebrate the colourful mix of the traditional and modern City of London - with its market, classic buildings coupled with modern skyscrapers and its diverse population.

The City of London, also known as The Square Mile, is the area of London that originally lay within the ancient city walls. From St Paul's Cathedral and the Barbican, to the Gherkin and the Walkie Talkie, this are of London is both the historical and business district of the capital.

Designs can be submitted in any medium, but we suggest that it is sized A3 or larger as the winning designs will be reproduced into high quality materials.
