The model and TV presenter has completed a gruelling 500km cycle across India to raise money for The National Autistic Society and to increase public awareness about autism.

Amy Willerton.

Starting in Delhi, our ambassador and #TeamAutism travelled through Rajasthan, passing the Taj Mahal en route and concluding the six-day cycle in the pink city of Jaipur for a memorable finish.

She chose to support us because of her personal experience of autism. Amy’s younger brother Ross is autistic, and growing up with him helped her to understand some of the difficulties and everyday challenges faced by thousands of autistic people and their families across the UK.

Any Willerton said: “I probably wouldn’t have achieved and done half the things I have in my life if it wasn’t for Ross.”

“I’ve chosen to complete the India Golden Triangle cycling challenge because it's completely out of my comfort zone. It's a privilege to raise money and awareness for such a wonderful charity.”

Amy has raised just over £3500 for completing the India Golden Triangle Cycle Challenge. There is still time to donate to the cause by visiting Amy’s JustGiving Page!
