NAS West Devon and Plymouth Autistic Women’s Group
A small and friendly group of autistic women who meet up monthly for a coffee and chat in Yelverton. Set up by Wendy in 2013, though name and location have recently changed. Everyone who identifies as an autistic woman is welcome, it does not matter where you live as long as you can get to meetings (parking and bus stop close to meeting place) Contact Wendy on westdevonautisticwomen.group@nas.org.uk

NAS Plymouth Adult Autistic Group
Our autistic adult group has been holding free peer-support group meetings for about 10 years in Plymouth. Our meetings are safe places for people like us to meet for mutual support and to socialise. We are mostly over the age of 35, and about half women. lt is a member-led group and we also have activities such as summer outings and speakers on helpful topics sometimes. Our group provides a safe space where we can meet people likely to understand our experiences in an atmosphere of trust and understanding, and possibly make new friends. Around 6-8 people usually attend in person meetings, but we also have online meetings and quizzes. Contact Ellie on plymouthadultautistic.group@nas.org.uk

NAS Autism Plymouth Parent Support Group
This group is for the parents and carers of autistic children of every age. This group enables you to talk to a trained parent of a person on the autism spectrum, to talk through problems and feelings and suggest helpful strategies. This group holds free monthly meetings, but at the moment all of these meetings are held online. Contact Tara on plymouthparentsupport.group@nas.org.uk
