Thinking about flying?

Did you know that airports across Scotland want to help you have a better journey?

For someone with autism, an airport can be a bewildering or frightening place.

You can ask for help to get used to the airport environment – free of charge!

If you think a familiarisation programme could help, simply contact the airport you will be travelling from, tell them you are on the autism spectrum or are supporting someone who is, and ask for:

  • a tour of the airport
  • to experience checking in, security checks and searches
  • fast tracking at queues
  • discuss other adjustments you may need.
