The National Autistic Society's Merthyr Tydfil branch runs monthly autism-specific soft play sessions and pool/flume parties, Kidz Fit sessions and activities including horse riding and rock climbing. They hold coffee mornings and regular courses that benefit parents of autistic children and young people, as well as organise autism awareness talks throughout Merthyr and the surrounding area. This branch also has a sensory and book library.
