On Saturday 13 June, The National Autistic Society Cymru (NAS Cymru) Ystradgynlais Branch held its inaugural Thomas & Friends Train Walk. The event took place at Diamond Park in Ystradgynlais, and was based on the classic Thomas & Friends books and characters.
Calls were made on 4 June, at a special meeting of the Welsh Assembly Cross-Party Autism Group (CPAG) in Llandudno, for a team of professionals to be established in North Wales to work with adults with Asperger syndrome.
NICE, the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, are consulting on new guidelines for diagnosing autism spectrum disorders in children and adolescents. Would you like to be part of a working group that helps to develop the new guidelines?
