What vacancies do you have?
School: Full time & Part Time Teaching Assistants. These are term time only.
Clayton Croft Childrens Home: Full Time Residential Support Workers - days and nights, Part Time Support Workers - days only.
Thurnscoe House & Studios: Full Time Residential Support Workers - term time only plus some weekends and a week in August (subject to demand).
Bank: We also have vacancies for Bank Workers.
What are the pay and hours?
Pay: A Full Time Teaching Assistant starts on £14,184 p.a. - this is actual pay not a full time figure which still has to recalculated for term time only working.
Hours: Full Time is 37 per week and Part Time is 18 1/2 per week.
Residential Support Workers
Clayton Croft Childrens Home:
Pay: A Full Time Residential Support Worker starts on £17,402 p.a. (including weekend working shift allowance).
Hours: Full Time Time is 35 per week and Part Time is 14 per week.
Thurnscoe House & Studios:
Pay: A Full Time Residential Support Worker starts on £14,184 p.a. . Part Time start on £4,600 p.a. There are extra payments for working on the short breaks weekends (including £25 per shift worked on a weekend) and during the school holidays.
Hours: Full Time is 37 per week and Part Time is 12 per week. Term Time Only plus weekend and school holiday short breaks. These are subject to demand.

Residential Support Workers at Clayton Croft:
33 days (rising to 35 days after five years service). An extra three days of leave are also awarded in "anniversary years" of service from ten years onwards (eg 10, 15, 20 years), taking paid holiday entitlement to 38 days for that year. This is proportional for part time employees.
Teaching Assistants and Support Workers at Thurnscoe House and Studios:
These positions are term time only and the paid leave is automatically taken during school holidays. The entitlement is proportional to that of those on a 52 week contract.
