Our Community Care Advice Service offers advice and information via email and phone appointment. We can give information about how to access care and support from your local social services department and how this may be provided. We can also advise you about what to do if your needs have changed or if you aren’t happy with the decisions that have been made about your care and support and you need to make a complaint.
How to use our Community Care Advice Service
- Email the Community Care Service to book a telephone appointment, or to ask for advice by email. Please include your age (or the age of the person in question), details of your query, and tell us where in the UK you live. We aim to reply within 10 working days. Please note that it may take us longer if our adviser is away.
- Contact us via our form. It would be helpful if you could provide as much detail as possible regarding your enquiry.
- If you do not have email or internet access, you can call our Autism Helpline on (Monday-Thursday, 10am-4pm, and Friday, 9am-3pm). The Helpline will take details of your query and arrange a telephone appointment for you with our Adviser, who will call you back at the agreed time to discuss your query in detail.
