Our experience, and wider research, shows that specialist and structured support can really make a difference to the life of a person with autism.

Access to high-quality short-stay respite can be highly pleasurable as well as helping to maintain family stability. Respite can be a few hours a week or overnight stays of up to one week long.

We offer a number of short breaks and respite services for parents and carers of adults with autism (including Asperger syndrome).

For parents and carers of children and young people up to the age of 19, a number of our schools have outstanding residential facilities and are well-placed to provide short breaks services. We offer flexible, reliable services at times when parents, carers or the young person need a break. Short breaks encompass holiday play schemes, overnight stays, weekend and week-long breaks.
