Bangor
Clwb Sbectrwm is an after school club for children with an autism spectrum disorder aged 5-11, meeting fortnightly at the University of Wales, Bangor from 5.30-7.30pm.
Activities include: games, art and creative work, snack time, videos, and occasional visits to the local fun centre. Parents are encouraged to remain with their child until he/she has settled in; they can then visit the cafe/bar for brief respite, if they wish.
Clwb Sbectrwm is run by student volunteers from the university who have taken part in autism awareness sessions, and is limited to a maximum of nine members due to the size of the play room. Clwb Sbectrwm does not charge a fee.
