We run groups for children and teenagers with autism and Asperger syndrome across Northern Ireland.

Groups for teenagers

Belfast area

  • Belfast Teenscene: for teenagers aged 13-16 with autism or Asperger syndrome. Runs one Wednesday per month from 7-9pm, at NAS Northern Ireland, 59 Malone Road, Belfast.
  • Newtownards Teenscene: for teenagers aged 13-16 with autism or Asperger syndrome. Runs one Wednesday per month from 7-9pm at the Kiltonga Centre, Newtownards.

North

  • Woodlands Youth Club: for young people with autism and Asperger syndrome aged eleven to 18. Takes place every Wednesday (except the first one in every month), 6.30pm-7.30pm and 7.30pm-8.30pm, at Woodlands Presbyterian Church, Carrickfergus. Telephone Tim Glenn: 07776 151804.


Groups for children

Belfast area

  • Newtownards Activity Branch: for children with autism and Asperger syndrome aged up to ten years. Takes place every other Saturday, 10.00am-12.30pm, in Scrabo Church Hall, Newtownards. Telephone Shirelle Stewart: 9068 8513 or 07789 941239.
  • Trampoline Club: for children with autism and Asperger syndrome aged four to ten. Takes place every Monday, 6pm-7pm and 7pm-8pm, at the Kiltonga Centre, Newtownards. Telephone Shirelle Stewart: 9068 8513 or 07789 941239.
  • Belfast Activity Branch: this is a new group that is in the process of starting up. It will offer activities for children with autism and Asperger syndrome aged up to eight years.
