Take action now and get involved
in the make school make sense campaign!

Get involved and help make school make sense for children with autism by taking one or more of the following actions.


  • Write to your MP to help young people with autism to 'move on up'.
  • Join the Campaigns Network today to receive up-to-date information about make school make sense and other campaigns.
  • Request a make school make sense Autism Awareness pack to send to your local school and/or local authority in the 'Download campaign materials' section below.
  • Order or download a free copy of the DfES Autistic spectrum disorders: good practice guidance and write to your local authority to ask them whether they are using the guidance.
  • If you want to find out more about local campaigning and how to get involved, download Campaigning with The National Autistic Society, a practical toolkit containing information on how to build a successful campaign, from the 'Related resources' section at the bottom of this page.
