Our resource centre in Manchester works to improve the lives of people with autism (including Asperger syndrome) and their families living in Greater Manchester. We also offer training and seminars to professionals.

The Manchester resource centre aims to meet the needs of people affected by autism in the local community. Find out more about our work and our autism library.

Manchester autism resource centre: advice and sensory sessions

People affected by autism can book a session in our sensory room, and attend advice sessions on issues including welfare rights, employment, access to services, and sleep.

Manchester autism resource centre: children and young people's activities

We run (or plan to run) three regular groups for children and young people with autism: a LEGO group, a hobby group, and a music group.

Manchester autism resource centre: social groups

Social groups are for people aged 16+ who have a diagnosis of Asperger syndrome or high-functioning autism. We run our social groups in Manchester once a month.

We provide training for organisations and seminars for professionals who work with children or adults with autism.
