Self-directed support (SDS) is a system of social care that lets people take control of their own lives and support.
Under the old support system, social services and other professionals assessed you and then told you what services they were going to provide. In this system, you get to say what you want out of life, and plan what support would be best for you. Find out more by following the links below.
