Our Information Centre team provides information about autism through two online services: the Autism Services Directory and Autism Data. We also have a small reference library at the NAS headquarters in London.

What we offer:

  • Autism Services Directory
The Autism Services Directory is a UK-wide database of diagnostic services, schools, support groups, training courses, residential and day services for people with autism or those supporting them.
  • Autism Data
Autism Data is the ideal research tool for anyone researching autism and Asperger syndrome. It lists over 30,000 published research papers, books, articles, videos and other materials about autism and related issues.
  • Library
Our library contains books, journals and DVDs on autism and can be visited by appointment.
  • Online bulletins about autism research and practice
Our online bulletins Autism Update and Titles in Autism list the latest publications. Both are published six times a year.

Opening hours and contact details

The Library is open to visitors from 10am-4pm, Mondays to Fridays, for reference. Prior booking is essential. Please email us, giving a contact telephone number.
