Collage of photos from branch purple ball event

We are a National Autistic Society branch, based in Swansea. World Autism Awareness Week is our opportunity to not only raise awareness of autism in the area, but to help families and individuals realise they aren’t alone and introduce them to their local support network.

This year we’ll be hosting a ‘Purple Ball’ to raise money for World Autism Awareness Week and to support our branch’s activities during the year. It’s an equally important opportunity to celebrate the hard work of our volunteers and supporters. The event is always a sell-out, and we can’t wait to see some of our loyal supporters who have been here since our first Purple Ball (this is the third!). This year we’ve invited Mark Lever, National Autistic Society CEO, to join us The Village Hotel in Swansea as guests enjoy a three course meal, live music and a positive, excited atmosphere.

We’ll also be hosting an ‘Over the Rainbow’ party to celebrate our individuality and uniqueness – and of course, we’re all going to be doing Onesie Wednesday!
