Rosemary Works School in London enjoys a Train Walk
People with autism are all around. People you might know. People in your street, school, youth club, Brownies/Cubs group or sports club.
Life can be very difficult for children and young people with autism, who may struggle to understand the world around them. Your support can help to make their lives easier and help them to enjoy the same activities that you do.
By raising money to support our work, you will be helping us to provide education, training and social opportunities for children and young people with autism. Support which will change their lives.
Your school
There are loads of ways your school can raise money to support us, such as:
- non-uniform day
- sponsored silence - the teachers love these!
- teacher/student clothes swap
- 'wear something purple' day
-
Train Walks - great exercise and educational
-
FestiviTea Party to celebrate the end of exams.
And the teachers don't have to miss out – we can give them information about our make school make sense campaign and our volunteer speakers will be very happy to come in and talk to both staff and students about autism and the ways we support children and families affected by autism.
