Distance: 320km
Entry fee: £99 (includes travel - see below)
Minimum sponsorship: £1,250

To celebrate our 50th anniversary and the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, this year we're turning the classic London to Paris bike ride upside down.

Covering 320km in just three days, and starting under the Eiffel Tower, this route allows us to offer an additional present to you in this anniversary year - time to explore both stunning capitals!

We set off from the Eiffel Tower, along the boulevards of Paris and cycle through undulating countryside through Gournay En Bray with some challenging hills to conquer on the way. Next, we cycle towards the coast, heading for the port of Dieppe, where we board the ferry to Newhaven, arriving that same evening. On our final day, it's an early start as we head for London. As we approach London the surroundings become more urban, part of the route will pick up some of the official Olympic Road Race Route from Dorking in Surrey. We finish by cycling through central London, taking in the iconic sights, ending at the London Eye, our final destination.

The entry fee covers entry into the Paris to London cycle ride, a Eurostar ticket, lunch and snacks for four days, and three nights' dinner, bed and breakfast.

I signed up for a London to Paris bike ride and I keep coming back for more! I find cycling a great way to relieve stress and it's been really good to meet other parents in a similar situation. I highly recommend signing up for one of these fabulous events today!
