Take the plunge for autism

Date: All year round
Location: Various
Registration fee (tandem dives): £70
Minimum sponsorship: £395

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stand on the edge of a plane flying at 10,000ft preparing to dive into the clouds below? Here's your chance to find out by taking the plunge for charity.

In deciding whether or not to throw yourself out of a perfectly good aircraft, you have to think of compelling reasons to do so. I had two: my son Henry and my 40th birthday.

When Henry was diagnosed with autism, we turned to the NAS and we were lucky enough to attend the help! programme for parents. We have since become lifetime members.

Paul Flowerday, NAS member and parachute jumper

You can choose from three different skydiving challenges (tandem, static line and accelerated freefall solo skydives) at a range of locations around the country and throughout the year.

Experience the rush as you freefall through the sky and the soaring feeling of doing something incredible to help people affected by autism.
