Every New Year, our staff and volunteers spend a day thanking as many as possible of the wonderful people who have supported the charity during the previous year.

We love starting the year in this way – in fact, we even made a video about it!

We began the year with great news from three of our schools, inspected by Ofsted. Robert Ogden, Radlett Lodge and Helen Allison Schools all received an outstanding inspection results in school provision or residential provision – it's wonderful to get this recognition of the work, so great job schools!

Our Autism Centres across the UK also had a great start to the year. Autistic adults going to our Manchester centre achieved 11 ASDAN awards, ranging from IT Skills to cooking and music.

Our Too Much Information Virtual Reality Experience went on the road in Wales. People in Cardiff, Rhondda Cynon Taff and Carmarthenshire got a chance to put on the VR goggles and experience some of what Too Much Information can feel like for autistic people. Our VR experience was created in consultation with autistic people and gives a sense of how overwhelming an everyday setting, like a shopping centre, can be.
