Disney will present its fourth autism-friendly performance of the award-winning musical at London's Lyceum Theatre on Sunday 4 June 2017. Disney are working in partnership with our charity on this specially adapted performance, which will welcome everyone into a friendly, supportive environment, and a theatrical event you will never forget.
Lyceum Theatre staff have had specialist training and will be on hand from the moment you call to book your tickets until you leave the theatre. A dedicated booking website has been created with a visual story to download to help you prepare for your trip.
On the day, volunteers from The National Autistic Society and Disney will be positioned throughout the theatre to support you. Outside the auditorium there will be relaxed quiet areas which you can visit at any point. Special adjustments have been made to the production, including lighting and sound, to make the environment comfortable for all.
Set against the majesty of the Serengeti Plains to the evocative rhythms of Africa, The Lion King uses breathtaking theatrical magic to tell the story of Simba’s epic journey to fulfil his destiny as King of the Pridelands.
