NAS Cymru plays an active role in raising awareness of autism in the National Assembly for Wales and with the Welsh Government.

We regularly provide specialist advice and briefings for individual Assembly Members, keeping them up to date on issues affecting people with autism and their parents and carers.

We also hold campaign events on behalf of our members at the Senedd and support our branches and supporters to meet with their Assembly Members and other key decision makers.

We give evidence at National Assembly committees and respond to Welsh Government policy consultations to make sure that people with autism can live the life they choose.

Currently this includes:

Cross Party Autism Group

We have also established a Cross Party Autism Group to promote the interests of people with autism spectrum disorders and their families and carers directly with Assembly Members, Welsh Government and their officials.
