The National Autistic Society (NAS) would like to invite you to the Researchers' Refuge at this year's Conservative Party Conference.

As one of our events at the Conservative Party Conference, we are hosting the Researchers' Refuge, an event designed specifically for MPs' researchers and constituency case-workers to discuss the big issues relating to autism or disability in Parliament or their constituency.

Maybe there's a parent in your constituency who is having difficultly finding the right school for their child with autism, or perhaps you would like to know more about the how the Government's proposals on health, benefits or education could affect disabled people?

This is an informal drop-in event, complete with beer, snacks and smoothies, and is the perfect opportunity to come along and talk though any tricky casework and policy problems, or simply to learn more about autism with the experts from our team.

The event will take place at:

The Lord Mayor's Parlour Room
Manchester Town Hall
Tuesday 4 October, 5.00 - 6.30pm

We want this event to be tailored to your needs, so would like to know if there is anything in particular that you would like us to cover. If you are dealing with any particularly difficult casework or policy issues right now, please let us know in advance.
