Disability Living Allowance
Children and adults with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are eligible to claim Disability Living Allowance (DLA). There's more information about DLA on our website.

Disabled Persons Railcard
This railcard gives your child (and an accompanying adult) one-third off most rail fares across the UK. Your child must be receiving DLA in order to apply for a railcard.

Disabled toilet key scheme (RADAR)
A RADAR key gives you access to disabled toilets across the UK. There's usually a small charge for the key (although it's free in some areas) but your child doesn't need to be receiving DLA to apply for one.

Cinema Card
Cinema cards cost £5.50 for one year and with it, your child and an accompanying adult can go the cinema for free. Your child must be receiving DLA in order to apply for a cinema card.

Family Fund
The Family Fund gives grants to children under the age of 17 who have a disability. Grants may be for bedding, clothing, items for the home such as washing machines, or holidays. Grants are dependent on household income.
