Field View is a purpose-built residential service for adults with an autism spectrum disorder. There are four flats and one house which provide safe, low arousal environments. The people we support can work towards living more independently.

Everyone who lives at Field View has a support plan based around their specific needs, and a key worker. They are also encouraged to maintain close links with family, friends and other people who are important to them.

Field View is in the rural town of Rawcliffe, East Yorkshire, and was designed and built in partnership with East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) and the primary care trust. We continue to work with ERYC and local teams to provide specialist support for eight residents.

Everyone who lives at Field View shares some communal rooms, but can decorate their own, private bedrooms to suit their tastes. The flats and house are surrounded by large gardens and are within walking distance of local amenities.

Our service operates 24 hours a day, 52 weeks of the year. It is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) under the Care Standards Act 2000

Our staff

Our skilled staff are committed to offering support and opportunities for personal development to each person in an environment that meets their needs.

We work closely with other agencies and professionals, including GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists, community nurses and consultants. This means that all the professionals involved in a person's life take a consistent approach to their care.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide domiciliary care. We are committed to providing a good-quality service and are regularly monitored, evaluated, re-assessed and developed.

We recognise that we are accountable to the people who live at Field View and that their interests are paramount.

Leisure and learning

Everyone who lives at Field View has a programme of leisure and learning activities. This can include activities at the house itself, in the local community or around the region - for example, learning opportunities at Goole College.
