If you employ people with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), you may be looking for some guidance on how best to support them at work.
In order for staff with an ASD to reach their full potential, it is vital that you can understand and meet their needs, and that you can communicate effectively with each other. Prospects offers training to employers across the UK.
Tailored training
This training can be provided for up to 25 members of your staff and the content will be tailored to meet your needs. Some areas that we commonly cover include:
- awareness training: learning more about ASD and how it affects people
- reasonable adjustments: how to make reasonable adjustments at work for people with an ASD
- management strategies: guidance and advice on how best to manage staff with an ASD.
Training usually takes place at your place of work and our trainers will come to you.
The training and ongoing support provided by the team at Prospects has been invaluable in making such a success of our placements.

One-day courses
We run one-day training courses at specific locations across the UK. If you only have one or two staff who require training, this option is more cost-effective than tailored training. Below are the courses we currently run.
