Communication skills at work

Communicating effectively with employers and colleagues is one of the most important skills for employees with autism and Asperger syndrome to learn. Our one-day introductory course will help you to develop your communication skills and learn strategies for building effective working relationships.

Dealing with anxiety in the workplace

Dates

  • 13 October 2011 – London


Many people with autism or Asperger syndrome can find managing their anxiety in the workplace very challenging. Our one-day introductory course will provide you with useful strategies for managing your stress levels while at work.

Organisational skills

Dates

  • 4 October 2011 – Glasgow
  • 20 October 2011 – London
  • 9 November 2011 – Manchester


Some employees with autism or Asperger syndrome find it difficult to manage their daily workload. Our one-day introductory course will provide you with useful strategies for organising, prioritising and decision-making.

Assertiveness skills

Dates

  • 11 October 2011 – Glasgow
  • 27 October 2011 – London
  • 17 November 2011 – Manchester


A one-day introductory course where employees will learn more about communicating confidently and being assertive at work.

Cost

Each course costs £135 + VAT and will usually be funded through your employer's training budget. Alternatively, depending on your needs, Access to Work may be able to contribute towards the cost of this course. Find your nearest Access to Work centre here.
