Understanding the autism spectrum

Our Prospects student and employment service provides specialist training and practical strategies to help you understand and support students with autism (including Asperger syndrome) more effectively, so they can reach their full academic potential.

Course content

  • What are autism spectrum disorders?
  • Effective working strategies.
  • Communication and how to provide feedback.
  • Reasonable adjustments according to the Equality Act 2010.
  • How to create an inclusive learning environment.
